If you are unsure where to begin, here is a guide to some of the garden jobs that you can start in March ready to make your garden perfect for enjoying in the summer.

If you want some home-grown fruit to enjoy, this is a great time to plant rhubarb ready for all those delicious crumbles later in the year! As well as fruit, you can start planting carrots and cabbages ready for the autumn harvest.

You can also plant a lot of flowers into the ground at this time of the year. Wildflower seeds are perfect for sowing now straight into the ground, and as well as giving you a beautiful display, the local wildlife will thank you for it too!
